M&S Payment Policy

  1. All payments must be made with an accompanying booking form prior to the child participating in our activities. Places cannot be reserved unless approved by a line manager.
  2. If payment is not made and a valid reason provided within two weeks of the activity commencing, M&S reserves the right to cancel your child’s activity place.
  3. Consent forms (consent forms can be found on our quicklinks on the website home page)
    will be provided and must also be completed and signed. Forms can also be completed online. If the form is not provided within two weeks of the activity commencing, you will be considered as having accepted all M&S Term’s and Condition’s.
  4. A receipt will be provided as confirmation of your booking.
  5. All prices are based on a term fee individual lessons are not permitted.
  6. We do not provide refunds or make-up lessons for missed sessions except in the circumstances outlined below. However if we cancel a session then a make-up lesson will be offered, unless the cancellation is due to a force majeure.
  7. M&S has a general ‘no refund’ policy. However exceptions will be made at the desecration of the management. A medical note may be required if due to injury or illness.
  8. If a child has been absent due to sickness for three consecutive sessions or more then M&S will offer make up lessons for the missed sessions. An accompanying doctors note will be required.
  9. If joining part way through an academic term the fees due will be broken down as follows;
  10. Example used is a twelve-week term
    • Weeks 1-3 fees paid 100%
    • Weeks 4-6 fees paid 75% (25% reduction)
    • Weeks 7-9 fees paid 50% (50% reduction)
    • Weeks 10-12 fees paid 25% (75% reduction)
  11. Annual registration fees are as follows and are payable once per customer, per year.
    • If joining in term 1 – 150 AED
    • If joining in term 2 – 150 AED
    • If joining in terms 3 – 100 AED
  12. Cancellation policy – Full refunds will only be issued under the following circumstances:
    • Major illness
    • Hospitalisation and rehabilitation exceeding one week
    • Relocation outside of the emirate in which the venue resides

M&S Swimming - Terms and Conditions

Dear Swimmers, kindly familiarise yourself with the terms and conditions stated below and thank you for choosing to swim with us. See you at the pool.

The M&S Team

  1. Please note swim fees cover coaching services and are not attributable to individual coaches. We strive for continuity at all times and whilst every effort will be always be taken to ensure that the training schedule remains consistent, occasionally sessions may need to be reduced and coaches may be substituted.
  2. Fees are calculated to include school holiday breaks and therefore swimmers are not entitled to make-up lessons for scheduled breaks.
  3. We do not provide refunds or make-up lessons for missed sessions except in the circumstances outlined below.
  4. Make-up swim lessons are ONLY available at the discretion of M&S Sports management and will be considered under the following circumstances:
    • If we cancel a lesson due to weather or unforeseen circumstances e.g. coach illness, facility repairs, pool hygiene issues.
    • If we cancel a lesson due to national holidays or unexpected school closures
    • If an absence for three consecutive lessons or more is accompanied by a doctors note.
  5. Make-up lessons will not be granted for any other reason. This includes, but is not restricted to; family holidays, single absences, school exams or clashes with other activities.
  6. Participants are required to swim at their scheduled class times in order to maintain appropriate coach to swimmer ratios. These are factored into every M&S lesson and are in place to optimise individual and collective development.
  7. If we cancel a lesson due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, we will strive to offer as many convenient times as possible, however lessons will be structured around coach availability and coach to swimmer ratios.
  8. Make-up lessons are not transferable and must be utilised in the same term as the missed lesson(s).
  9. If we need to cancel your child’s lesson (due to teacher illness, facility repairs etc.) we will notify you as soon as is practically possible via text message and email.
  10. Cancellation policy – Full refunds will only be issued under the following circumstances:

    • Hospitalisation and rehabilitation exceeding one week
    • Relocation outside of the emirate in which the venue resides
